Tribute to My Dear Mother

Certainly, Death is inevitable! Every living Soul has its death coupon directly issued depending on when, where and how. But it is most certain that we will all embark on that eternal journey some day. Indeed, the sorrow of loosing a mother is to the extreme and an emotionally severe one.

Mum, I am really saddened and grieving at your demise. I am just wondering where else we can get the heartfelt love and care you lavished on us. Anyway, we take solace in the fact that you lived a good life. A life we are all proud of. When you left us, I was comforted to some extent when I heard people around you emotionally proclaiming the same songs with us your children that they have lost a pillar, meaning you have been a pillar to all and sundry not only us your children.
Tears drifted down my face as I am writing this tribute with my heart fiery from innermost, telling me that, from now on, I will spend the rest of my life here on earth without my loving and encouraging mother. It’s really an irreparable loss which has created a vacuum that cannot be filled.
I fervently pray that all you have prayed for us during your lifetime continue to follow us until our last breath.
Adieu Mum! Continue to Rest in Peace until we meet to part no more.

Never the less, I wi l not fail to say here that I am highly grateful to you my beloved wife and partner for you played immeasurable rol in not only bringing up our children six of them in number but also in the bringing up
of my siblings and that is my younger brothers and sisters. Throughout their formative years, almost a l of them schooled and grew up under my tutelage and it is on record that you as a highly dedicated wife and mother, accommodated and fed al of them without discrimination until they become what they are today. So that I am very very grateful to you my beloved wife & Lolo and for I say once again thank you very much. Somehow, some people are saying that you died when you are about to enjoy your marriage but to them I should say they are not correct because you realy enjoyed our marriage and I made sure you did through the help of God our father. I can recollect the different times and occasions that we celebrated together starting from our marriage wedding ceremony by 1972, our first chieftaincy celebration of Dec 1993 awarded by Eze Omenuko of Abajah, second chieftaincy celebration of Dec. 1994 awarded by Eze C.C.A Ibe of Umuozu, our marriage silver jubilee celebration of 1997 and finally our marriage Golden jubilee celebration of Dec. 2023. All these and many others not mentioned were celebrated in good health by both of us with joyful memories yet to be equaled by other couples.
In Fact I had remained highly grateful to our creator the Almighty God who endowed you to me despite the fact that he recaled you now to eternal
glory where we shall meet to part no more.

May our merciful God grant you rest in his heavenly kingdom.

Fare well until we meet again

A Tribute to My Beloved Mother

Today, I honor the life of my dear mother a woman whose love, strength, and grace shaped the very core of who I am. Though distance kept us apart in her final days, her presence has never left me, she remains etched in every memory, every lesson, and every quiet moment of reflection.

Mum was more than a mother she was my anchor, my teacher, and my first home. Her kindness radiated effortlessly; she had a way of seeing good in others even when they couldn’t see it in themselves. Her laughter could fill a room, her wisdom could calm a storm, and her faith carried her and all of us through the most difficult seasons of life.

She was good to everyone around her. With her gentle nature and compassionate heart, she welcomed people into her home without hesitation or complaint. Her doors were always open, her table always had room for one more, and her presence made others feel seen, loved, and accepted. Mum lived her life in service to others not out of obligation, but out of genuine love and care. She treated everyone as family, and her kindness left a mark on every soul who crossed her path.

Her journey was not easy. She bore her illness with a courage that can only be described as divine. Even when her body grew weary, her spirit remained unbroken. She faced her pain with quiet dignity, teaching us that strength isn’t measured by how loudly we fight, but by how gently we endure. Through her suffering, she continued to give love unconditionally, selflessly, endlessly.

It breaks my heart that I could not be by her side in her final moments. The miles that separated us weighed heavily on my spirit. And one of my deepest sorrows is that she never got to hold her grandson in her arms the child she longed to meet, the little life she already loved so dearly from afar. Yet I find comfort in believing that she watches over him now, smiling from above, her love surrounding him in ways unseen but deeply felt. In him, her legacy continues her gentleness, her strength, her boundless love living on through generations.

Mum, thank you for every sacrifice, every prayer, every lesson, and every act of love. You gave me wings to fly, yet taught me to stay grounded in faith and humility. You live on in everything good I strive to do, and in every person whose life you touched with your compassion.

Though you are no longer here in body, your spirit is eternal in the warmth of your smile that still glows in my memory, in the strength I draw from your example, and in the love that continues to guide me through each day.

Rest well, my beautiful mother. You have run your race with grace, and your light will never fade. I love you Mummy!

Tribute to My Dearest Mother

There is a silence now where your presence used to be a quiet that fills the spaces you once occupied with love, calm, and understanding. You were my refuge, the one who showed me that strength can also be tender.

Even when I was stubborn, you corrected me with patience and grace.

Dear Ojiugo, your love was quiet but powerful. You listened beyond words, carried my worries as your own, and always found a way to ease them. You were the calm in every storm, the anchor that steadied me.

Losing you feels like losing my foundation, yet I am not lost. The home you built was never just a place it lives in my heart. Your voice guides me still, and your love sustains me.

Your grandchildren still ask after you, hoping for another Sunday with your sweet rice and stew, a moment that will never come again.

A Tribute to My Beloved Mum

Mum, It is hard to believe that you are no more. You were more than a mother to me, you were my teacher, my comfort, my guide, and my greatest blessing. Your love was unconditional, your patience endless, and your strength beyond measure.

You were dedicated and committed to your family. You taught me kindness through your actions, courage through your sacrifices, and faith through the way you lived. Your strength and resilience in the face of challenges will always motivate me. Your love and support meant the world to me, and I will hold on to those memories forever.

Even in difficult times, you smiled and found a reason to be grateful. You gave so much of yourself so that others could be happy. In your generosity and kind heartedness, you welcomed everyone into your home and took care of all. Oh!what a lovely personality you are!

I was there in the last days of your life before your demise, you endured all pains, you fought for your life, you wanted to live for us, but God wanted you to rest from all that, and rest in him.

Though you are no longer here with us, your spirit lives on in my heart. I still hear your laughter, remember your wise words, and feel your love surrounding me. You may have left this world, but you will never leave my soul. I will miss you more than words can say, but I know you are in a better place watching over us.

Thank you, Mum, for everything — for your prayers, your guidance, and your love that continues to light my path. I will carry your memory with pride and honor you in all that I do.

Rest peacefully, Dearest mother. You will forever remain my angel and my hero.
We love you, but God loves you more.
